“We have had the pleasure of hiring René Hue to design and plan several celebrations for our family. Two of the most memorable occasions were a baby shower for our first child, followed by a 1st birthday celebration for this same child a year later. The baby shower involved the custom creation of an intricate wood “tree bookcase” designed specifically for the nursery. René presented a few conceptual design sketches for our review and several months later the piece arrived with artistic perfection. It was truly the highlight of the event. Guests gifted their favorite childhood books to display on the tree during the shower which injected life into the piece. Our son’s 1st birthday offered distinctive creativity with a dose of whimsy, in an effort to create a “Peter Rabbit” woodland scene which featured bunny-trail signage, rustic fencing, large branches with decoupaged Peter Rabbit scenes, lettuce-leaf dishware, vegetable montage centerpieces, and an abundance of carrot clusters! René’s taste and style enables her to create any fairytale vision you can imagine! Her attention to detail is impeccable, nothing is missed or overlooked.
